Our focus on reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions ensures that we are not only optimizing our operations but also contributing to a more sustainable energy future.

As part of our roadmap to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions at Welltec Denmark and across our wider operations, we are beginning to introduce renewable energy solutions at facilities where local conditions and infrastructure make this feasible. These initiatives represent our early stage rollout while we continue assessing applicability across other sites.
By 2035, we aim to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% at our Denmark headquarters compared to 2018 levels. Globally, we will continue to expand renewable energy projects where they make the most sense—at larger facilities in sunny locations—while improving energy efficiency and leveraging automation and data-driven optimization.

Renewable Energy Certificate
Since 2021, Welltec has been compensating a significant portion of electricity consumption at both HQ locations through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). These initiatives support ongoing efforts at Welltec to minimize our own carbon footprint, and to fully align with our mission: the application of engineering and technology to provide safe, effective and quantifiable energy solutions.
