The department

Our CNC production setup in Esbjerg is part of a larger manufacturing organization of approximately 40 employees. To strengthen our structure and performance focus, we are now looking for a Team Leader for one of our CNC teams.

You will have direct leadership responsibility for 10-15 skilled CNC operators and technicians, while collaborating closely with the broader production organization, support functions and management.

The environment is technically advanced and quality-driven, where precision, structure and cross-functional collaboration are key to ensuring stable production flow and on-time delivery.

 

The position 

As Team Leader CNC, you will be responsible for the daily leadership, performance and development of your team while ensuring efficient and high-quality CNC production.

You will play a central role in translating overall production targets into clear priorities for your team. The role combines operational insight with leadership responsibilities and requires a strong focus on performance management, planning and continuous improvement.

You will act as an important link between your team and the wider production organization, ensuring alignment, transparency and strong execution in a dynamic environment.


Key responsibilities 

  • Direct leadership and development of a team of 10-15 CNC employees
  • Contributing to overall production performance within the department
  • Performance management in line with our strong performance culture
  • Planning and prioritization of daily production activities
  • Driving production optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring high quality standards and compliance with procedures
  • Supporting and ensuring correct CNC setup and CAM-related processes
  • Monitoring KPIs and ensuring stable delivery performance
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain
  • Contributing to implementation of new processes and improvements
  • Ensuring a safe, structured and efficient production environment


The candidate         

The ideal candidate has:

  • In-depth knowledge of CNC production
  • Strong technical understanding (CNC machining, CAM systems, setup and tooling)
  • Proven people management experience from a production environment
  • Experience with performance management and KPI-driven leadership
  • A strong interest in and motivation for production optimization
  • Experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid planning and prioritization skills
  • Experience working in a cross-functional setup
  • Experience with change management and driving improvements
